Range Rover Vogue LSE
“Soft Dash”
1995 model year
first registered 12/1993
two owners from new

Plymouth Blue metallic
Sorrell Brown Connolly leather interior

120 000 miles

now sold to another valued repeat customer

Like with most iconic cars with a long life span it’s the first and the last of the line that become the most sought after.

The same goes with the original Range Rover, introduced in 1970 with the very last cars produced in early 1996. Only the last 1995 model year benefited from a totally modern interior look later known as “soft dash”.

The Vogue LSE (Europe) and County LWB (US) with 20 cm / 8″ extended wheelbase were the ultimate luxury incarnations of the classic Range Rover. Only available with the 4.2 litre V8 engine and automatic transmission, the list of standard equipment included adjustable air suspension, leather seats with full electric controls and seat heating, alarm with remote control, burr walnut veneer, heated windscreen, airbags, cruise control, electrically dimming rear view mirror with map lights, semi-automatic dual zone air conditioning, glass tilt slide sunroof and Harman/Kardon premium audio with subwoofer.

Electric windows and mirrors as well as central locking had already become standard a few years earlier, among with many othe improvements taking the Range Rover several decades forward from the original simplistic design introduced in 1970.

First delivered by established Land Rover distributor Guy Salmon to a British buyer to be used by him in the south of France, and it remained with the first owner until 2016. According to the accompanying British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, this left hand drive example was built as “LHD, Home Market” and was European/UK registered new as L75THP.

Imported to Finland by ourselves in 2016 –
Extensive renovation including rust removal, new headlining, walnut veneer restoration, interior leather renovation and upgrades including additional leather with contrast stitching in steering wheel, door panels and centre console. New Wilton carpet set including rear compartment and lid. Fitted with latest Pioneer cd/dvd/navigation flip screen head unit (ideally suited for the late dashboard design)  and rear view camera, coupled with the original premium audio system by Harman/Kardon.

The original air suspension system has been replaced by conventional springs and shock absorbers by the previous owner, but refitting of the air suspension is possible. Many owners prefer the steel springs because of their simplicity.
