Homologated to maintain the works rally team’s competitive edge, the first Evoluzione versions of the immensely successful Lancia Delta Integrale were manufactured towards the end of 1991, incorporating wider front and rear track, appropriately altered bodywork, and an engine re-mapped to produce 210bhp among many other detail improvements. The Evo 2 was essentially the same but came with a catalyst in the exhaust system.

Lancia also offered a host of limited-edition variants, which culminated in one of the rarest and most collectible: the famous ‘Dealers Collection’. As its name suggests, the latter was available only to Lancia dealers; based on the Evo 2, it was painted in a unique colour – Pearl Red (126/F) – and came with light tan leather Recaro sports seats, an aluminium instrument panel, push-button starting, and black carpets. Only 180 of were made, and today this swan-song model is highly sought after by collectors.

Number ‘065’ of the 180 units produced, this example was delivered new to St Moritz, Switzerland and was first registered there in 1995. The first owner was one Renato Tscharner. Our vendor purchased the Lancia in March 1997 from Hendon Way Motors in London. At that time, this Evo 2 had covered just 25,497 km and it is believed that there have been only two owners from new.

Important service works were carried out in May 2025 at a cost of more than €10,000 by Atelier Automobile in Berlin, Germany, including installation of a new timing belt. Related bills are on file and the car also comes with a file of invoices, its service book, and the owner’s handbook. Displaying a total of 58,535 kilometres on the odometer at the time of the cataloguing, the Lancia is registered in France and as such holds a French registration certificate.
