One of the most beautiful mahogany racers ever built by Chris-Craft.

Only two owners. The present owner couple bought the boat in 1991 in New Jersey, USA from the first owners, an older couple that had let the boat yard take care of the annual service requirements and always used it in sweet water lakes. After a major renovation the boat was transported to Finland in 1994 where it has been used every other summer from the dock on the owners’ property.

The decking was stripped down and varnished with 14 coats over the two tones of mahogany in 1992, and the latest coat has been applied in 2016-2017.
The last batch of renovation pictures were taken in 2017.
The bottom is constructed with double planking, all mahogany. All fittings and mechanical components are original.

The 237cid (4,5L) Chris-Craft KFL flathead inline six was rated at 131 horsepower when new and produces a wonderful, deep exhaust note.  The inboard engine drives a single prop through a drive unit featuring reverse gear. Low hours on the clock and regular maintenance promises many years of life left before restoration.
She now sits on land on her original cradle, waiting for some TLC by a new owner, needing some new varnish.
A nice, custom made cover to protect from the UV rays can be seen in the pictures.
